The First Private Amangiri Home Lists for $33 Million

At Canyon Point in southern Utah, a singular private residence has quietly entered the market at $33,000,000, marking the first time a privately owned home within the protected perimeter of Amangiri has ever been offered for sale. Long insulated from conventional real estate cycles, the resort has remained a controlled landscape where ownership was theoretical rather than transactional. This changes with a nine acre estate carved into untouched desert, nearly 12,000 square feet built directly into canyon stone. Rather than dominating its setting, the structure dissolves into it, maintaining the visual silence that defines Amangiri’s global reputation.

Six bedroom suites are arranged around interior courtyards and extended desert sightlines, allowing the architecture to frame the landscape rather than interrupt it. The primary suite opens onto a private courtyard with a heated plunge pool, while a 118 foot swimming pool is carved directly into the surrounding rock. A private spa with steam room and sauna sits alongside a dedicated fitness studio, extending the resort’s wellness infrastructure into the residence itself. Until the home is sold, it remains available for rental at $45,000 per night, with no ownership required to occupy it.

The residence was designed by Masastudio, led by Marwan Al-Sayed, one of the original architects behind Amangiri, ensuring architectural continuity with the resort’s founding vision. Materials are deliberately limited to cement, stone, and wood, while forms remain low, horizontal, and visually uninterrupted. Only twelve private homes are planned across the wider Aman Residences, Amangiri development, each positioned on expansive acreage ranging from five to nineteen acres within 900 acres of protected desert. There are no identical residences planned. This estate stands alone, functioning as both a private home and a fully serviced extension of one of the world’s most secluded luxury resorts.
