Chopard’s $1 Million Watch on Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson’s former stage name, The Rock, has always carried weight. At the Golden Globes 2026, he stepped out in a custom Ralph Lauren Purple Label tuxedo with an unexpected counterpoint at the wrist – Chopard’s Alpine Eagle 41 Frozen Summit. The watch is a one-of-8 piece, priced at $1 Million, and identified as reference 295395-1001 under Chopard Boutique Exclusivity.
The execution is uncompromising – Ethical 18-carat white gold across the 41 mm case and integrated bracelet, with the dial, bezel, crown, and every visible surface set with diamonds. Total diamond weight is 29.02 ct. The dial is entirely paved with 18-carat white gold. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters, with sapphire glass up front and a see-through sapphire crystal case-back. The crown is screw-down, executed in matching ethical white gold.
Chopard places the Alpine Eagle 41 Frozen Summit within its hybrid territory of watchmaking and jewellery, finished to the standards required for the Poinçon de Genève. Power comes from the ultra-thin L.U.C 96.41-L movement, an automatic calibre using a micro-rotor for winding and delivering a 65-hour power reserve. The movement measures 27.40 mm in diameter and 3.30 mm thick, built from 176 components with 29 jewels, operating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The off-centred micro-rotor is 22-carat yellow gold, engraved, visible through the exhibition back. Chopard notes 800 hours of work for the making of an Alpine Eagle XP 41 Frozen Summit, from recutting several hundred diamonds to setting each stone across the case, crown facets, and individual bracelet links.
